Duty/Task List

A validated list of tasks performed in the workplace. Each task statement describes a meaningful and measurable unit of work. A duty is a broad descriptor under which similar tasks are organized according to function.

Tool, Equipment, & Work Aids List

A list of the tools, equipment, and work aids used by incumbent workers to carry out activities in the workplace.

Performance Objectives

Conditions for Performance - Specifies necessary tools, equipment, work aids and environmental factors related to performance of the task.

Performance - The task to be performed.

Standard - An observable or measurable standard of performance deemed appropriate for successful completion of the task by incumbent workers.

Performance Steps

A procedure followed to perform the task.

Enabling Competencies

Knowledge and subskills that are prerequisites to the mastery of a task.

Related Academic Skills

Language arts, math, and science skills that a worker needs to know to competently perform a given task.

Instructional Activities

Methods and/or procedures for delivering instructional content.

Instructional Resources

Materials which are used as a base for the development of instruction and/or training.

Instructional Worksheets

Custom developed checklists or worksheets referenced in the Activities and/or Resources.

Test Item Banks

Criterion-referenced test items associated with a specific task or duty. Item types may include Multiple-choice, Matching, Performance, and Scenario items.
