1) The data contained in the two "zip" files on this page are for importation into the CTECS DIRECT 5.2 software. The version of CTECS DIRECT 5.2 software on your computer must be the October 26, 2009 version or newer. If the date on the opening screen of your software is earlier than October 26, 2009, go here DIRECT Support and click the link to "Request the DIRECT update." After you obtain the update file, install it. Instructions are provided on the DIRECT Support web page.
Note: This document, CTECS DIRECT - PA Manual.pdf provides instructions for getting the update, importing the data, and printing reports.
2) Download (save) the two "zip" files below to your computer. When the download is complete, double-click on each downloaded file to extract (unzip) it. Be sure to note the location of the folders that contain the unzipped files; you will need to know this information when you begin importing the data into CTECS DIRECT 5.2.
3) After the steps above have been completed, you are ready to open the CTECS DIRECT 5.2 software and import the files. (Refer to the document PA Data - CTECS DIRECT Instructions.pdf on this page.)
PA Elig Content and Acad Stds.zip - This folder contains Eligible Content and Academic Standards statements and codes. Each file must be imported into CTECS DIRECT as an "Academic Skill."
